Minimum Requirements

 

Regardless if you’re are using mrc-Productivity Series or m-Power, the system requirements to utilize this technology are minimal. The requirements are:

           

AS400 Requirements

·        A Webserver

·        Java Developer Kit 1.4 or later.

·        m-Power or mrc-Productivity Series with PTF dated 06/30/2001 or later.

·        [Optional] PASE (Portable App Solutions Environment) – This is IBM software that is part of licensed group 5722SS1 group (option 33).

Non-AS400 Requirements

 

You have the flexibility to run your applications off of any server, including non-AS400 servers. If you wish to host m-Power/mrc-Productivity Series off of a Windows based or Linux based operating system, the following requirements would pertain:

 

Client Requirements

 

One of the key benefits of web applications is the lack of software you client needs to install. In fact, for m-Power/mrc-Productivity Series customers no special client software is needed! The only thing your client will need is a web-browser, which comes pre installed with all operating systems.
