mrc offers monthly classes at our Lombard, Illinois office, as well as at client locations, for training on mrc-Productivity Series.
The following classes are currently offered. Customized training is also available.
- mrc Fundamentals: Teaches the basics of all the mrc functions: Retrieval/Graphics, Reports, Summaries, Maintenance, Batch Job Streams and the Administrator Menu. This 3-day class is instructor led with 50-70% hands-on workshop time for the pupils in the class.
- mrc Advanced Users/Technical Class: Teaches users how to use the mrc-generated objects outside of the mrc environments, to place on user menus, and gives users the knowledge to develop more complex applications using mrc-Productivity Series. Also discussed: mrc commands, job streams, Control Language programming, the rules governing TPL (Template Programming Language), the objects generated by mrc, conditional calculations, calling externally described programs outside of mrc within your applications, and complex data manipulations.
- mrc Web Productivity Class: Web Productivity, mrc’s newest educational offering, covers Web application development as well as the strategies involved in building the right Web applications for your business. Also discussed: CGI and servlet applications, with a background on the setup and creation process of these particular applications.

Lunch will be provided for you, in addition to coffeecake and sweet rolls for the morning hours. mrc is located 20 minutes west of Chicago, near Oakbrook, Illinois.
