mrcUK celebrates it's tenth anniversary.
4 January 2005, London, United Kingdom, mrc UK, mrc's highly successful London division, has just celebrated its ten year milestone. mrcUK was established in 1994 by Andrew Vigrass, an industry expert, and AS/400 consultant.
"We're celebrating ten years here in the UK. We have kept on growing, winning more and more new customers each year. During this time there have been so many changes in the iSeries industry and also so many advancements in the mrc-Productivity Series itself." said Vigrass.
"It's amazing to think that the mrc-Productivity Series is can now not only access the iSeries database but can also live on other machines and access their data as well, including the x-series and p-series. Thanks to the way that mrc-Productivity Series lets users create Web applications in server-side Java, the applications they create are fully flexible as well. Ten years ago, that would have been inconceivable. "
"We now help companies in all sectors to create intranet and internet solutions that work real-time with their live corporate databases. This has included ERP solutions such as System/21, BPCS, Movex, ASW, Retail Express, JD Edwards - in fact, including all the main iSeries-based ERP solutions. Our UK business has grown by helping companies to expand the use of their legacy iSeries systems with the latest web technologies in a way that suits each company's culture, business environment and their available skills."
mrc has been producing award-winning development software since 1981, opening its London division in 1994. The company's flagship product, the mrc-Productivity Series, is the only iSeries (AS/400) development tool suite to provide Web development, rapid application development, and real-time reporting capabilities in one package.
mrc also produces m-PowerTM, a fully portable, Java-based database-independent development software tool patterned after the mrc-Productivity Series for creating Web applications.
