Question: “We followed the mrc-Productivity Series BED (Browser Enhanced Development) setup instructions to the letter. However, in BED, we can only use the retrieval and graph option to change our applications.
When we select an application from the report tab we get the following error:
HTTP Status 500
Type: Exception report
Message description: The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.
What is the problem?

Answer:
This problem only occurs if you're using the IBM JDK (Java Development Kit) 1.3 rather JDK 1.2.
You will need to use Notepad.exe to modify file "/tomcat4112/bin/catalina400.sh" on the IFS by replacing the two occurrences of the text "jdk12" with "jdk13".
