“I have changed the file (table) that I had already built Web/Servlet applications over. How do I proceed?”

You should delete the file definition and add it back into the the data dictionary.

1. If you added a new field, generated apps are not affected. You do not even need to recompile anything.

2. If you changed a field (like its size), you have to remove it from your apps, reselect it, and recompile.

3. If you deleted a field, you have to remove it from your apps and recompile.

When removing the field from an app, remember that it might be used in many ways: sequencing, joining, calcs, selections, external object parms, Smartlink parameters, etc.
