Penton Media's iSeries NEWS names APEX award finalists |

Penton Technology Media, a division of Penton Media, Inc., announced today 33 Editors' Choice and 33 Readers' Choice finalists for the third annual iSeries NEWS Apex Awards. Winners will be announced at Spring COMMON 2004 in San Antonio on May 2.
"The Apex Awards recognize industry leaders who have made valuable contributions to their customers and the market," said Wayne Madden, publisher of iSeries NEWS.
The Editors' Choice finalists in the Application Development Systems category are Business Computer Design for ProGen WebSmart, LANSA for Visual LANSA, and michaels, ross & cole, ltd. for mrc-Productivity Series BED (Browser Enhanced Development).
The Readers' Choice finalists are Aldon Computer Group for Aldon Change Management System, ASNA for Visual RPG for .Net, and Business Computer Design for ProGen WebSmart.
The Editors' Choice finalists in the Communications category are BOScom for BOSaNOVA LTC-400, iVoice for iVoice, and Stalker Software, Inc. for CommuniGate Pro. The Readers' Choice finalists are ASNA for DataGate for iSeries, BOScom for BOSaNOVA LTC-400, and Stalker Software, Inc. for CommuniGate Pro.
The Editors' Choice finalists in the Data and Knowledge Management category are Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. for SEQUEL, ASNA for DataGate for Windows Servers and Desktops, and Magic Software Enterprises for iBOLT Integration Suite. The Readers' Choice finalists are Aldon Computer Group for Aldon Affiniti eTeam, ASNA for DataGate for Windows Servers and Desktops, and Magic Software Enterprises for iBOLT Integration Suite.

In addition to announcing the winners of the above categories at COMMON, iSeries NEWS will also present the 2004 Industry Driver award at this time. The winner of the Industry Driver award will be determined by magazine staff and will be based on creativity, use of technology, and innovation of product.
