Hotline Question of the Month

by Matt Olson

Question:

“ We changed our IP address over the weekend. When attempting to run a web application I can get to mrcmenu page, but when I get the sign on screen it won't let me get to the report.

How can I fix this? ”

Answer:

First, run the MRCUPDDFT command and choose option 8 to change your IP address from old to new one for Web applications.

Also, you need to change the IP address in the mrclogon.html file (which represents your signon screen).

Enter "WRKLNK" on a command line and go to mrcjava/yourdictionary/mrclogon.html and change it, and save it, in that file.

You could also delete this file and it will be regenerated when you build a new application in that data dictionary.

You will then need to go into your report and recompile it.
