A recent OS/400 update from IBM has caused a licensing problem for several mrc-Productivity Series customers.
You might encounter this problem if you apply V5R4 OS/400 updates, upgrade to V5R4 OS/400, or get a new server with a V5R4 OS/400.
You will know that you are affected if, upon typing mrc at a 5250 command line or upon running mrc-supplied commands MRCRPT, MRCRPTSND, MRCSUM, etc., you receive the error message Authorization Error 803 or *SIGNOFF.
Here's how to fix it»

This month's featured update:
Right side justification data issues? No more.
This is a major enhancement that can be used in Web 2.0 templates. It greatly simplifies development for customers who employ database tables that store certain alpha field values as right-justified data. This seems like a strange database practice, but I find it in an alarming number of customers. This right justification of data makes the data tough to work with, and develop with - especially when trying to employ tools of some kind.
This new m-Power Web 2.0 feature solves that problem once and for all.
