Based on all the surveys and studies I’ve seen lately, 2011 is the year that businesses finally jump on the mobile bandwagon. I’m not just talking about business people using smartphones for checking email on the road. Businesses are finally recognizing the fact that smartphones and apps are not only here to stay, they also offer tons of value.
Of course, this leads to questions. How does our company take advantage of mobile apps? Which path do we take? Will we have to hire a whole new mobile development team? Those are all valid questions, which I will continue to address in this blog. But, one of the biggest questions is this: Which phones do we use for business?
I remember 5 years ago, when Blackberry ruled the smartphone world. The choice was easy back then. Now, there’s a new smartphone coming out every week. How do you pick the right one for your business? I recently ran across a nice article on techradar.com which details the top 20 smartphones in the world today. It’s worth a read and could help your company if you’re looking for the right device.
Of course, if you think any smartphones should be added to this list, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
