Let’s look at the facts. If you want to build native mobile applications for your business, you need a developer familiar with the platform of your choosing. What if you want cross-platform apps? Since most mobile platforms use a different programming language, building apps for each requires different skills. So, if you want native, cross-platform mobile apps, you’ll need multiple developers.
But, can’t you just hire some temporary developers to build all your applications?
Yes and no. Sure, you can hire contract developers to build some applications, but who will maintain them? Maintenance is probably more involved than you think. Every time a change in your business affects the app, it must be updated. Every time you want to add a new feature for your mobile users, it must be updated. Every time the mobile OS gets updated, you’ll need to update the app to ensure compatibility.
So, how are you going to create and maintain these mobile apps without another team? If you’re struggling with this problem, I have a question for you:
What if you didn’t need a mobile team?
If there was another option that let you build cross-platform mobile web apps that looked and felt native, yet didn’t require a mobile team, would you like to know about it? If so, I have some good news: Another option is coming…stay tuned…
