If you’ve chosen the IT field as your career path, you have a tough job. You’re in charge of keeping your company’s systems and applications running smoothly, supporting business users, finding new ways to improve your company with technology, and more. To top it all off, you also must find a way to stay up to date with the ever changing tech trends and news while keeping your own skills current. Whew! There’s just not enough time in the day for everything.
Starting in 2012, I want to help you with that in a couple of ways. First, I realize that it’s incredibly difficult to learn new skills when you’re already strapped for time. So, I plan on including many more helpful tutorials in this blog that you can use to easily improve your business applications.
Secondly, I realize there’s a large amount of tech news and articles published on a weekly basis. While much of it is actually quite helpful, the problem is, most of it isn’t. So, starting with this post, I’d like to write up a weekly recap of the most interesting tech articles and news stories that I’ve run across over the past week. Hopefully, this should leave you with at least a few helpful articles that you may have otherwise missed.
