Ticket #29740
Question
Question about date parameters for filemames in Task Scheduler. Is there a list of the built-in parameters that could be used for naming files through the scheduler? I see there is a section for passing date values to the records selection here: https://www.mrc-productivity.com/docs/utilities/working-with-the-messaging-scheduled-tasks-plug-in. I am looking for something similar for the filenames.
Answer
Unfortunately at this point in time the only built-in date parameters that can be used in the task scheduler filename are ${datestamp} and ${timestamp}. These values here which you may be referencing in your ticket, https://www.mrc-productivity.com/docs/utilities/working-with-the-messaging-scheduled-tasks-plug-in#dateparms can only be passed as parameters to the target application. Note if you are passing any parameters via the additional parameters box or mapping fields, you can use these parameters in the filename as well. ex. you have a runtime record selection parameter like such: R001=${yesterday} you could then reference the value of your runtime record selection in your file name: myfile_${R001}.xlsx
