Ticket #31537
Question
Can m-Power return results where the search phrase is in either one of two different fields? Example: A user searches for "Book". Then the results are all instances where "Book" is in Field1 and/or Field2. So, if the search term Book Return is in field1, field2, or both field1 and field2 all of those records would be returned.
Answer
Yes. What you can do here to accomplish this is to use a concatenated calculation in your application that combines Field 1 and Field 2 into a single value (separated by a space). Then have the user filter over this concatenated calculation as they would any other field. This would allow them to search over both columns (or really as many columns as you concatenate).
