Overview
The Run a Summary message type is used to execute a summary in the background. Developers are able to control filters and any other parameters they wish to pass. Summaries are often scheduled or can be called as part of a workflow action step from a maintainer.
Target Application
- Select a Summary: Select the dictionary and summary that you wish to use in your task.
- Additional Report Parameters: Additional parameters can be passed through the URL to filter the summary or control the summary behavior, such as defaulting a date value. Use the “Toggle Parameter Help” button to assist with creating this URL.
