Today, software developer mrc announces the release of User-Defined Views within m-Power. m-Power is a web application development platform that businesses use across their organizations. It creates web applications such as report-writing, Business Intelligence, executive dashboards, customer portals, and mobile applications to name a few.

This enhancement is designed to help businesses address a common problem: the reporting bottleneck. In many organizations, reporting requests run through a single department or individual. They must build and customize the reports for end users—many of which want their reports customized in different ways. The problem: These customizations waste time. What are User-Defined Views?

User-Defined Views provides a scalable reporting solution that grows with the company. It lets multiple users share a single report, yet customize it to fit their exact needs.
  • Gain better insight into their data: With traditional reporting, users receive static reports which display pre-defined data in a pre-set format. With User-Defined Views, users can customize their data layout however they wish. They can transform a single report into many different reports, save them for easy access later, and even share those reports with other users. This approach brings flexibility to end user reporting, and gives users better insight into their data.
