Today, software developer mrc announces the release of template and interface enhancements within the m-Power Development Platform. m-Power is a web application development platform that businesses use across their organizations to create web applications such as report-writing, Business Intelligence, executive dashboards, e-commerce, customer portals, and mobile applications to name a few.
This release enhances the m-Power Development Platform with new templates, m-Painter improvements, and historical auditing. These new enhancements improve m-Power in a few important ways:
Bootstrap templates bring new capabilities to m-Power
m-Power's templates were revamped from the ground up using the industry standard Bootstrap 4.0 framework. With the new templates, m-Power users can:
- Create fully responsive applications that automatically adapt to any mobile device or screen size.
- Take advantage of built-in app features like drag-and-drop column re-ordering, enhanced field sorting, and more.
- Take advantage of the Bootstrap framework, the industry-standard for responsive frameworks. Bootstrap delivers a modern look and feel, a huge community of users, and a standard framework for application layout.
m-Painter enhancements bring a drag-and-drop form designer
This release also brings some exciting enhancements to m-Painter, m-Power's visual editor. Most notably, m-Painter now includes a brand new form designer. Users can now create and modify database-driven forms using a simple, drag-and-drop interface. This feature improves form development speed and lets non-technical users easily create database-driven web forms.
Historical auditing features
This release candidate brings historical auditing features to m-Power. It allows users to add audit data for users, date, and time for when a record was added, updated, or modified. This feature helps m-Power developers understand who uses their applications, and how and when data is being updated.
