What is m-Power?

m-Power is a low-code development platform built to eliminate the category's usual trade-offs: it installs on your own server, builds over the databases you already run, generates standard code you own, and never charges per user. mrc, the company behind it, has built and supported it since 1981.

No. m-Power is a perpetual license with unlimited users and unlimited applications. Adding users or building more apps never raises the bill. Most low-code platforms price per user per month; m-Power is a one-time purchase you own. Details are on our pricing page.

m-Power works over any JDBC-compatible database, including Db2, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, and deploys to Windows, Linux, or IBM i. Run it on-premise, in the cloud, or hybrid. It builds over your existing databases, so there's no data migration.

The build process is code-optional. Non-developers who know the data can generate working applications through the template-driven process, while developers can customize business logic, integrate APIs, or work at the code level. Most teams have both types building side by side.

Support that isn't outsourced. Every call reaches an mrc consultant who builds with m-Power every day, and they work the problem with you until it's solved.
