Answers From Live Data, Charts on Request

An analyst built with m-Power queries only the tables you give it, under the same security model as the rest of your applications. Your users see a chat window over the data they already work with. Build it yourself, or have our consultants build it for you. Either way, it runs in your environment.

Type a question, get an answer

Users type a question and the analyst answers it, straight from live tables. Ask followup questions to dig deeper into your data and discover trends.

Charts without a report request

Let your users generate charts and graphs on demand, without needing to make a request to IT.

03

Find trends in your data

Unlike a prebuilt report, this approach lets users explore their data from any angle and uncover trends they wouldn't have seen.

04

Control your data

You control if your data gets sent to the LLM, and if so, what fields to include. It also runs over the same security you already use, so you manage user and role access.

Connect the LLM your company has approved, open or self-hosted, and swap it later without rebuilding the analyst.

Easily the best technology investment I've made in my 20+ year career.

I can now do five projects in the time that I would have done one project. I like having the freedom to quickly build and design solutions that work well for the business.

Build AI Data Analytics Over Your Database

Point an AI analyst at your order data and let users ask for revenue by region, month-over-month trends, and the chart to go with them. The build runs over your existing tables, so there's nothing to migrate first.

  • Set up over existing database tables
  • Questions answered from live data, charts on request
  • Data access defined by IT before anyone asks a question

Where Teams Use It

A few common places an AI analyst over your database gets put to work:

Sales questions on the spot

Revenue by region, rep, or product, answered during the meeting instead of after it.

Order and shipment lookups

Open orders, late shipments, and backlog questions answered from the system of record.

Inventory trends

What's moving, what's sitting, and what's about to run short, from live inventory data.

Budget vs. actual

Finance asks how a line item is tracking and gets the current numbers and the trend.

Customer account lookups

Reps pull up a customer's history and order status while the customer is still on the phone.

Answers for people who skip BI tools

Managers who won't build their own reports can still ask a question and act on the answer.

Need traditional reporting too? m-Power builds web reports and dashboards over the same data.

What is an AI data analytics assistant in m-Power?

m-Power is a low-code development platform from mrc that builds web applications and AI tools over your existing databases. Its AI analytics assistants answer questions from live database data, build charts on request, and summarize trends, inside applications your IT team controls. They're one part of m-Power's AI toolset, alongside chatbots, agents, and AI workflows.

From your database. The assistant queries the live tables you've given it access to and answers from those results, so the numbers reflect what's in your system right now. The commentary around the numbers comes from the AI model, so give it the same second look you'd give an analyst's summary before a big decision.

m-Power is database-agnostic. It runs over major SQL databases such as Db2, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, on-premise or in the cloud, with no data migration.

No. Users type the question and the assistant runs the query for them. IT decides which tables and columns those questions can reach.

Yes. Assistants use the same security model as your other m-Power applications: Role-based access, row-level data rules, and your own authentication (SAML, OAuth2, or Active Directory).

Any major model, open, closed, or self-hosted, and you can swap later without rebuilding. One note on data: If you connect a third-party LLM, the data you allow into prompts goes to that provider. Choose a self-hosted model if everything needs to stay internal.

m-Power uses perpetual licensing with no per-user fees, so you can roll an assistant out to a whole department without watching a seat count. Model usage fees from your LLM provider are separate. See the pricing page for how licensing works.

Yes. Build assistants in-house with m-Power's low-code tools, or have our developers build them with you or for you. 96% of first-time services clients come back for another project.
