Creates a brand new (empty) mrc data dictionary library

MRCUPDDCT

Updates the mrc data dictionary file and field definitions.

**DEDICATED** No one can be in the data dictionary being updated

MRCCRTAPP

Submits all applications in a specific dictionary utilizing a specified template to be recreated

MRCAPPREF

Searches a specified dictionary for all applications utilizing a specified record format name or field name or template

MRCMNTDCT

Cleans up a specified data dictionary (This command eliminates applications that are partially defined which may occur due to loss of power or abnormal termination. Secondly, this command reorganizes all of the mrc internal dictionary files to optimize performance).

**DEDICATED** No one can be in the data dictionary being updated.

MRCUPDDFT

Allows one to update the mrc data area default values

MRCUPDTPL

This command reads the templates defined in your mrc environment and summarizes them into a control file. The data in this file will control the templates are seen in the Template Selection window when you use the prompting function from the application defaults. Also, the external object location information will be retrieved from the templates and stored for use by the mrc-Productivity Series.

MRCVLDTPL

This command validates the template programming language (TPL) rule syntax and associated inter-dependencies for a given template. Provided is a listing which may give an indication of a TPL syntax or dependency violation.

New Version 8.0 Commands

MRCIMPHTML

This command allows one to import an html file(s) from the IFS to a specified mrc data dictionary. The html file(s) can then be used as a main header/footer for every web application created in your data dictionary or can be specified for an individual application.

MRCEXPHTML

This command allows one to export an html file(s) from the specified mrc data dictionary to IFS. The html file(s) can then be updated using any HTML formatting tool. After doing so, use MRCIMPHTML to import the file back to mrc.

MRCRPTSND

This command will run an mrc report, convert the spool file to HTML or PDF, and then send the file to the IFS. From here, the report can be served to any web browsers. If your iSeries is set up to be an email server, you can also enter the email addresses to which you wish to directly send the report.

MRCSPLSND

This command will convert any iSeries generated spool file to HTML or PDF format, and then send the file to the IFS or email addresses (if the iSeries server is set up to send e-mail).
